About this role:
GOAL is currently seeking a new Middle East Programme Coordinator to support our Syria Response and Iraq programmes. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the provision of Head Office support for the effective implementation of GOAL’S response in the Middle East region. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about the ongoing challenges in the Middle East region and possess the ability to work well with others.
As the new Middle East Programme Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Operations Coordinator and line managing the Programme Support Officer- Syria. Although you will be based in Dublin, there will be regular travel required to Turkey, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon. You will Liaise directly with the Regional Director, Country Director, Syria Senior Management team, Head of Programmes, HQ Syria Operations Group, HQ Senior Management team, as well as the Contingency Planning and Governance Group by providing support and coordination between HQ operations and in-country teams.
