Make-A-Wish has been granting wishes for over 30 years, and has been in Ireland since 1992. It all started with a little boy with leukemia who wanted to be a police officer, and the rest, as they say, is history. These days Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to bring hope, strength and happiness. These wishes usually involve close family members too, allowing the whole family to participate and create happy, lasting memories together.
As a charity, Make-A-Wish is in contact with a lot of money. They are looking for someone competent and reliable to look after the day to day organisation of all monies. As part of this role you will deal with cheques, SOs, suppliers, petty cash and receipts. You will need to run reports and provide financial information, and you will need to be familiar with data entry. As you can imagine, if you are dealing with a charity’s finances, everything
you do must be to the highest of standards!
